The 2013 Vasa Cross Country Running Festival will kick off on June 23. 5,000 participants from home and abroad will gather together in Jingyuetan, Changchun.

Originally intended as a patent medicine when it was invented in the late 19th century by John Pemberton, Coca-Cola was bought out by a businessman whose marketing tactics led Coke to its dominance of the world soft-drink market throughout the 20th century.
At present, it owns almost 48 percent of the market share throughout the world.
Zeng Shuyang, director of Coca Cola Company’s special events, expressed the company’s sincere support for a long-term cooperation with Vasa.
Q: Is it the first time for Coca-Cola to cooperate with Vasa?
A: We’ve been cooperating with Vasa for four to five years since its first event. And we are on good terms with each other. We think that it’s worth cooperating with Vasa since their ideals are similar to our brand’s.
Q: What similarities do you think Coca-Cola has with Vasa?
A: The logo of Coca-Cola is red, which means passion. The staff at Vasa shows enthusing passion and positive attitude. Moreover, Coca-Cola has been contributing to public service these years as well as to the residents here, allowing them to feel the enthusiasm and vitality of our company.
Q: To this day, are you satisfied with the cooperation? Will you expand the cooperation with Vasa in the future?
A: We are both satisfied with the cooperation and we intend to maintain this kind of good relationship with Vasa in the future. I also hope that Vasa will provide us with more opportunities to exhibit our products and brand ideas.
