Changchun Jingyuetan Forest Marathon is an annual cross country running competition held in Changchun, Jilin province. It is one of the Vasa brand events, which is upgraded by “Vasa running festival“ and which has already been held for 8 years. Compared with other standard road marathon races, the main advantage is that our course involves mountain slopes, forest sand ways, and total elevation gain is around 750 meters. So we can say Changchun Jingyuetan Forest Marathon is considered as one of the most fashionable Marathons in China now.
Changchun Jingyuetan Forest Marathon takes place in Jingyuetan national scenic area which is a National AAAAA Level Tourism Scenic Area. The initiative to arrange this event is to let people enjoy a healthy life style, running and the open nature.

    • 07:00 Traffic restrictions are being enforced, no vehicles still allowed to drive into the Jingyuetan park.
    • 07:30 Music band welcomes the runners.
    • 08:00 The contestants of Marathon, Half Marathon and 7 km Mini Marathon enter and check into their starting block, the warm-up exercises begin.
    • 08:20 Opening ceremony
    • 08:30 Start of the Marathon and Half Marathon (in separate blocks)
    • 08:40 Start Mini Marathon
    • 10:00 The start of the live performances
    • 11:30 The Prize giving Ceremony of Half Marathon
    • 12:00 Dance performance
    • 12:10 Game and interaction with audience, Lucky draw begins
    • 14:30 The Award Ceremony of Marathon
    • 16:00 End of Changchun Jingyuetan Forest Marathon .
  4. Rules
    1. The races are conducted in accordance with new Rules and Regulations for Track & Field certified by CAA.
    2. Time
      Half Marathon and Marathon participants must wear the timing chip distributed by the organizing committee, without it there will be no results recorded and leads to disqualification. Chip attached to no. bib does not need to be returned.

    4. Drinking stations
      Drinking stations: Marathon: 16 drinking stations. Half marathon: 8 drinking stations. Mini marathon: 1 drinking station.
      Some drink stations serve snacks and drinks, some serve only drinks. Check the course map to see where the drink stations are located and what’s served.
    5. Medical Aid
      We have 5 ambulances on the track, 3 of them located at 29km, 36km and at finish line of the Marathon track. Two of them respectively follow ranks of Marathon and Half marathon. A medical station is offered every 1km in the Marathon track and at every drink station. This is handled by the Blue Sky Rescue Team.

  7. Refund Policy
    1. Please send email regarding the cancellation & mention the refund request to fengjing@nordicways.com, the organizing committee will refund your original payment channel within 15 working days.
    2. Following information must be included in the email: the participant name, ID number or passport number, telephone number.
    3. Applying for refund before May 1st 2019: 50% of the fee will be refunded to the canceled participants.
    4. On and after June 1st, 2019: no refund application for the event will be accepted by the organizing committee.
    5. 6Refund for medical reasons: 80% of the fee will be refunded at all times before June 1st, 2018. No refund request will be accepted on and after June 1st, 2018. Participants must offer the copy or photo of the diagnoses certificate and receipt for hospitalization as the proof.
    6. The registration cannot be transferred.
    7. If you want to change your distance,please send email to gloria.guo@nordicways.com ,before May 1st will be free, service fee 20% after May 1st.
